Project Description :

Medco E & P Natuna Ltd is undertaking the development of Forel-Bronang fields as part of the ongoing program for the development of oil and gas fields in the South Natuna Sea Block B Production Sharing Contract Area from the Republic of Indonesia in 300 feet of water. Production from this field is estimated to start at the end of 2023.

The Forel field development requires gas injection source for pressure maintenance and lifting gas to the reservoir. Gas lift source is also required to optimize Forel’s crude oil production. The Bronang field is developed to supply the import gas requirement of Forel field for gas injection and fuel gas.

The design of Forel and Bronang field production facilities are dry tree concept where all production wells will be placed on a wellhead platform (WHP) that is designed unmanned with the concept of the Minimum Facility Platform (MFP) which is designed with a simple technology system but has a high level of reliability and requires minimum intervention and maintenance.
